# Notifications

Read workspace notifications in the portal and choose which categories also reach you by email.

## Inbox and categories

The portal keeps an inbox of workspace notifications. Each notification belongs to one category: billing, jobs, account, support or system.

Under Settings, Notifications, choose for each category whether it appears in the portal, by email, or both. Runzivo can lock the email setting for some notifications. Failed-job notifications are in-app only.

## From the CLI

rzv notifications list, rzv notifications read and rzv notifications settings do the same from a terminal. They need your own sign-in; API keys are not accepted.
