Runzivo Privacy Notice
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Who we are
Runzivo Technologies Inc. is a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Runzivo handles information you submit when you join the newsletter or Early Access.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe to the Runzivo newsletter, we collect your email address to send product updates, engineering notes, and pilot news. Buttondown processes the subscription and delivers the emails on our behalf. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter email or contact hello@runzivo.dev to ask us to remove your address.
Early Access and partner requests
When you email us, book a call, or complete our partner form, we collect the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address, organization, and a description of your workflows. We use them to respond, assess fit, and run Early Access. Do not send credentials, secrets, or sensitive workflow data.
Service providers
We use service providers to run the website and handle requests: Buttondown for the newsletter, Google Workspace for email and call booking, Tally for the partner form, GitHub for the Runzivo GitHub App, and Creem to process card payments. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union, where it may be subject to local laws.
Cookies and analytics
The runzivo.dev website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Information involved in service operation
To authorize and operate a runner, Runzivo processes GitHub App installation and repository identifiers, workflow-job lifecycle information, runner and capacity records, and service logs needed for reliability, security, limits, and incident investigation.
Workflow data and secrets
Workflows are configured in GitHub. You control the source code, environment settings, and secrets available to a job through GitHub. Do not expose secrets in logs or support material. Runzivo does not add repository secrets to runner configuration, and platform credentials are not injected into customer workers.
How information is used
The V1 design uses operational information to authorize requested work, run and tear down isolated workers, enforce usage controls, maintain security, investigate failures, and improve the Early Access service. Customer-facing analytics are not part of V1.
Retention
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We keep Early Access and partner correspondence for as long as we need it to respond and run Early Access, then delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal limits. Contact us at the address below. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Updates
This notice is an Early Access draft and may be updated as the service and its legal review progress. Material policy decisions for a public or paid launch will be published before that launch.
Privacy contact
Runzivo Technologies Inc. has designated a privacy officer. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@runzivo.dev.
