Connect GitHub from the portal

Use the customer portal to connect GitHub. You must be an organization owner to complete the connection.

The portal opens the Runzivo Shared GitHub App flow, where you select the organization and repositories, then returns you to your workspace.

Repository selection

During installation, an organization owner chooses Only select repositories and selects the repositories that will use Runzivo.

A workflow label selects a supported runner configuration, but it does not grant repository access.

What the V1 integration is designed to do

For a connected installation and selected repository, Runzivo:

  • Validates that a queued job comes from the connected installation and selected repository.
  • Creates a single-use JIT runner for an eligible repository.
  • Runner cleanup after a job completes, is cancelled, or cannot be assigned.

Change repository access

Use GitHub App installation settings to add or remove repositories. When you remove a repository in GitHub, it can no longer request new Runzivo capacity. Uninstalling or suspending the App stops new runner requests. When you restore access, update the selected repositories in GitHub before requesting new runners.
