Develop with an editor and agent

Coming soon. Planned worked example, not available yet in production.

Before you start

Planned workflow: connect your editor over Remote SSH and open /workspace. These steps need a CLI release that supports SSH. No such release is available yet. Use a running sandbox, your own authorized agent login and a project that is safe to edit.

Planned example

Planned example · replace placeholders
rzv sandboxes ssh-config <sandbox-id> --workspace "<workspace-id-or-slug-or-name>" --write
ssh <sandbox-id>.rzv true

Review and protect your work

Planned workflow: after plain SSH works, install the Remote SSH extension for VS Code or Cursor and choose the generated alias. Copy your project with the rsync guide. The upload excludes .git. Before asking the agent for one small change, create the clean snapshot below in the sandbox. After the change, compare it with diff -ruN and run the project’s tests. The planned developer image will include agents that come signed out. Copy changes out before expiry. Editor operation has not been tested against a live sandbox.

Compare the agent’s changes

Inside the sandbox · run each step at the indicated time
# Before the agent edits. Use a new snapshot path for each session.
cp -a /workspace/project /workspace/project-before-agent
# After the agent edits. Exit status 1 means differences were found.
diff -ruN /workspace/project-before-agent /workspace/project

Ask Docs

Ask a question and open it in your AI assistant. The prompt tells it to answer from the Runzivo docs and link the pages it used.

Try asking

Your question opens in the assistant you pick, under its own terms. Runzivo does not see or store it.
