Sign-in and sessions

How long you stay signed in to the customer portal, what ends a session, and when the portal asks you to confirm it's you.

How long you stay signed in

After you sign in to the customer portal, you stay signed in for 14 days without activity, and for 30 days at most. After 30 days you sign in again, even if you have been active.

Your sign-in survives browser restarts.

Only your own activity, such as opening pages or taking actions, keeps the session alive. Background refreshes in an open tab do not.

How the session is stored

Your browser holds only an opaque session cookie. Sign-in tokens are not stored in your browser. The portal renews short-lived access tokens on the server.

What ends a session

  • Signing out ends that session immediately.
  • If an account is suspended, all of its sessions end immediately.
  • If Runzivo staff sign an account out everywhere, all of its sessions end immediately.
  • A session also ends after 14 days without activity or 30 days after sign-in, whichever comes first.

Confirm it's you

If you have not signed in within the last 15 minutes, the portal asks you to confirm it's you before a sensitive action:

  • Billing changes, when paid billing is enabled: payment method, purchases, auto-recharge, and billing country.
  • Creating, rotating, or deleting an API key.
  • Account security settings: linked identities, sessions, account deletion, and owner role changes.

Staff sessions

Runzivo staff sessions use shorter limits than customer sessions.

Ask Docs

Ask a question and open it in your AI assistant. The prompt tells it to answer from the Runzivo docs and link the pages it used.

Try asking

Your question opens in the assistant you pick, under its own terms. Runzivo does not see or store it.
