Workspace permissions

Choose workspace access that keeps billing data visible only to the right people.

View billing

Billing balances, credit minutes, purchases and other billing data require the View billing permission. The Member and Viewer presets do not include it.

Without View billing, the portal hides billing data, including billing details in AI chat. This does not change a member's access to non-billing workspace information.

Managing access

Use Settings > Members & Teams to review roles and permissions. A person can receive View billing through a workspace role or team that grants the permission.

Billing changes need additional permissions. Giving View billing does not grant permission to change billing settings or make purchases.
